Liberty

I woke up with a sleeping feeling
Took a look, walk and talk
All alone around the shores
Burning my thought heavily
Upon the long slavery days
When the white-men
Showed how clever they were
Making Africans their slaves
Calling them black prisoners
A time, my people got to suffer
Working hard everyday
Under the burning sun
With chains around their feet
And whips at their backs
The women are always crying
As the children keep dying
But the men hoped for freedom
A day when they shall know liberty
And a day when their children and women
Shall shed no tears of sorrow
Because of the lost of a father
Liberty is all the game is about
