DO EVERYTHING TWICE BETTER THAN BEFORE

Before you tell me about my past,
Know that I have long left it behind
I have left it behind not to be forgotten
And not for it to be rotten
I have left it behind not because I'm scared
Or because it means nothing to me
But I have left it behind to rest
To belong where it belongs
I have left it behind to be past, to be gone
And so to not dictate my future

But before you tell me about the future,
Please know that no one has yet been a future(r)
Know that it's the only thing I've hope for
And trust me, it's what I'm never certain of
I am not certain not because it is so bleak
Or because I am myself lost in its core,
But I am uncertain to be certain
That whatever may, the best soon comes
Yes brethren, I am uncertain to be certain
That the future is very uncertain

So while you still have today,
Please live your life like the last it may,
Do everything twice better than before
Today is the best time to live your call
Today is the best day you can afford
Not because yesterday is become a past
Or because tomorrow may never come
But it's the best because it is
For real brother, yesterday is gone
And oh, tomorrow just may never come

DO EVERYTHING TWICE BETTER THAN BEFORE

Before you tell me about my past,
Know that I have long left it behind
I have left it behind not to be forgotten
And not for it to be rotten
I have left it behind not because I'm scared
Or because it means nothing to me

To belong where it belongs
I have left it behind to be past, to be gone
And so to not dictate my future

But before you tell me about the future,
Please know that no one has yet been a future(r)
Know that it's the only thing I've hope for
And trust me, it's what I'm never certain of
I am not certain not because it is so bleak
Or because I am myself lost in its core,

Poetry Speaks for the Weak

When voices become silent,
When gestures can't express,
And when the heart is resilient
Poetry speaks without stress

When thoughts stumble and crumble,
Cos, hope melts like thin sheets of ice
Poetry speaks without mumble
And such keeps you on the rise

When time change the seasons,
And when dreams remain in their realms,
Poetry speaks but with reasons
Reprinting the lost films in gleams

When the strong become weak,
When the rich become poor
And when the great ones fall,
Poetry speaks with visions

When what's lost is found,
When dreams become reality
Poetry speaks in clear sounds
Sending you miles from agility

When the strong dominate,
And survival lingers on fitness,
Poetry speaks for the weak
And it defends the meek

Lone Universe...

We first met just in last summer,
I held suspicion, she’s a scammer
But my instinct gave me the urge
To risk my treasure in a slow surge

The feeling reached a top degree
Is the contract without conclusion?
She promised, we are not three
Now, it looks like rerunning illusions

She made me tasted jealousy,
Gave me the virus of drowsy
She even made me spoke Spanish
Forgetting my guard unleashed

While I still weren't watching,
She sneaked into my quarters,
Made away with dear batching
Leaving lonely, my lone universe

I tried realizing my long dream,
Asking for a swim in the stream,
She furtively faced my clear beam
Positing we should keep it a secrete

She promised smiles for tears,
Saying her trust is in her dear.
And she can’t wait another year
I asked, is this against all odds?

Joyful weeks rolled into months
Bitter months folded into years
But my sister kept wiping the tears
While I kept scripting the fonts

My mother said she stole my heart,
My sister believed she was influenced
My dad said, ‘son, feel your heart’
And my brother still remained silence

I tried to do what my father told me,
But all I felt was bitterness or emptiness
Did she steal what I can’t do without?
And oh, is there a slice of second chance?

She came from and through nowhere,
Did she mean to hurt me?
I am still a survivor, surviving every year

My heart is all what I want now.

Look Around

Stop and take a look
See what is going on
And try to reset things
There is no need to wait
Get up and change the world
Because you can
If you look around
Tell me what do you see Is
there something to smile about?
While the children are dying everyday?
And as the nations cry for peace
The leaders are talking about the economy
What is so good about this?
That's why I took a look around
And have got to do this writing
That you may also read
And maybe join force with us
To fight in this battle

Liberty

I woke up with a sleeping feeling
Took a look, walk and talk
All alone around the shores
Burning my thought heavily
Upon the long slavery days
When the white-men
Showed how clever they were
Making Africans their slaves
Calling them black prisoners
A time, my people got to suffer
Working hard everyday
Under the burning sun
With chains around their feet
And whips at their backs
The women are always crying
As the children keep dying
But the men hoped for freedom
A day when they shall know liberty
And a day when their children and women
Shall shed no tears of sorrow
Because of the lost of a father
Liberty is all the game is about

My Turn

It's my turn to glorify Him
For the pains He beard
Just to yield me a fruit
I have never planted and nurtured
Oh! Lord God of mercy
Hallowed be Thy name
And may Your minds be true
If not that you were there
What would I have done?
My education couldn't
Replace my appetite for salvation
But then, my faith in You
And the baptism in Your Name
I am a son with a Father
A herd with a shepherd
A soul with a known destiny
And it's my turn
To sing Hallelujah!
To His holy name
So praises and adoration
Be onto Thy Holy Name

If You Are Mine

Wished you are mine today
So as to do what I please with you
As you lay on my night bed
It will please me a lot
To do to you whatever you please
That's if you are mine
I will frequently touch you
Until I see us naked
And our bodies sliding over each other
Till that agony is felt
Slowly, I am getting off myself
As I watch you naked in my room
My heart is full of burning desire
And you seems to be the cause
Because I want you now
And I know you are aware
That I want it any way done
Feel it from the touch of my fingers
Through your skin to your head
Believe me, it will be a pleasure
Really and truly, if you are mine

To Face Reality

When I was a child,
My mum used to tell me
To be a man is not easy
I will have to toil very hard
Racking and cracking my brain
Fighting and never resting
Till I make a difference
So today when I look around
And she is no where to be found,
It becomes clearer and clearest
To me that,
It's time to face reality
No matter how hard it may seem
Mindless of how rough it can be
I must face it with courage
Yes! I must and I would
To face reality with hope
Even if it may cost me a lot
All I know is that,
I must be the one
The one that will break the chords
The chords of war
The chord of fruitlessness
And the chords of hopelessness
That's why I want to face reality
And to sow the seed
The seed of love, hope and righteousness
That's is me!

Time Machine

Time is like a machine
And it's always must wine
So get and do something
Else, you lose everything
Look out now on the screen
And pen a poem to be seen
Believe what I say about time
Even if it doesn't really rhyme
What more could be done?
If the sun never rise in the morn?
So much have been loss
It's time, we break the cross
Stand up and do something new
And never let out no one's view
Then always remember
I said time is a machine

It's A Shame

Oh! Why all these fighting and fussing?
Why not stop the killing?
It's a very big shame
To see brother fighting brother
And sometimes, father against son
I am very sorry it seems too late
But then, we need to turn around
Getting up to make a change
Yes! A change for betterment
Because it's a shame
How the human race is living
This yoke must be broken
And we must recover all the lost
That's why I wrote this poem
Just to inform you about
What brother Joseph said
That it's a shame before the Almighty
To see the people fighting in the street

The Difference

i believe in a difference
so i never live in pretense
its never on a silver-platter
so i always keep it tight like the plaster
a change must surely come
and the world may every scam
just turn round side by side
you may find where to ride
because the difference
is always our reference
never give up the fight
but rather hold it tight
and never scare in the dark
and or separate the white from the black
which makes no difference

Hot Cake

This is me burning
Like a hot iron bar
Don't touch me
Because I am unbeatable
Strong like a lion
Fears like a leopard
And as wicked as the tiger
Step away before me
Don't try to stop me
Because you can't
I am hot a cake
Right away from the oven
Untouchable and unbreakable
You can say I am a champion
And I will say I am a rock
The last man standing
Breaking the barriers
And resisting the worries
That's me, the Humble Lion
Guns and bombs
Can't take away my life
Though I stand against them
Because I for the right course
Yes! I am hot cake
Brightening every corner
Where I find myself

Right Thing

Don't let them tell you
It is impossible
To do what is right
Never hesitate
To do what is right
Never mind the cost
But rather the benefit
When you stand for the truth
They will scorn you for that
But that shouldn't
Be your setback
Rather strive even harder
Till you always do what is right
Because it pays to

To Be A Poet

Writing poetry is a game
To be a poet is a fame
So pen it making your name
Because there is no blame

A poet is a traveler
And also a seller
You can say he is storyteller
But never a ruler

On his journey,
He needs no penny
But just some honey
And forget about money

A poet is a messenger
Running like a night ranger
Informing about the danger
But he is not a stranger

The journey of a poetess
Is like a mistress
Who is without a stress
As she practice the press

A poet is a lonely man
He is happy without his woman
A warrior without gun
And the man who will never run

He faces trouble with courage
As his pen and paper will manage
And into no one's business, he'll engage
Because the world won't damage

Yes! A poet is an en-lighter
He is not a fighter
And not just a writer
But also happy during the witter

Better To Die

The truth is the way
It is the key
That gives your soul
A better place of comfort
So always, it's better to die
In the name of the truth
Rather than to live
In the favor of the lies
How actually good is the truth,
No one knows it till it passes
The same way,
What bad is in the lies,
No one realizes it till it's late
but don't give up m y friend
Keep hold of what is right
And the winner you shall be
So hold the fast the truth
And despise the lie
Because it's better to die
For the sake of the truth
Than to live luxuriously
In the name of bloody lies
I shall never let down
The banner of the truth
Till I see HIS KINGDOM come

Not A Puppet

Though I am meek
I am not also weak
And wont always do
What pleases you
Because I am not a puppet
Lying on your carpet
I know my way down here
A man like a bear
You want me to believe
In all the life you live
Yet! I am not a puppet
That you may call your pet
You can never mistreat me
After using and refusing me
Yes! For I am not a puppet

In The Night

In the night,
when the time is right,
and you are not there,
still, i shall be here
waiting for you my miss
as i missed your moment of bliss
please buy my idea
of making you my dear
because there seem none
to replace your  in the morn
i bled painfully last night
because my moon never bright
and you were the one above
the apex of my love
i need you badly
and would accept you gladly
despite whatever

My Supplication

Dear heavenly Father
As I lay my head to sleep
I praise your holy name
I exalt your highness
And I respect your holiness
Thank you for yet another day
And thanks for the breads
I hail your great name
And give you adoration
Deep in the dark
When am far away from home
No pestilence shall I fear
Because I know you are with me
You comforted my soul
And anointed my head
Until my cup runs full
Every evening as I go to bed
I shall go down on my knees
And made a supplication to you
That help me in all ways
To achieve and overcome
All these little prayers
I made to you with respect
To your greatness and holiness

Revelation

Closed my eyes
To see nothing
But the BOOK
With a page opened
In which was written
The end time is near
The days are numbered
And soon or later
The Armageddon must come
This book says that
And I am waiting for it
As it been revealed
Yes! This is the book
That reveals the secrete
To the little babies
And the suckling
Though it's been
Long hidden from the wise
And the prudent
Open your eyes
Maybe you can see
Through the clouds
What I am seeing
While I closed my eyes
